About the Practice

Corneal Consultants of Colorado, P.C. founded in 1975 by Dr. Richard Damiano and Dr. S. Lance Forstot, leading ophthalmologists, and corneal and refractive surgeons, pioneers progressive treatments for visual acuity. In the interest of preserving vision, the doctors started their practice performing refractive surgery to correct astigmatism following corneal transplantation. Today, Corneal Consultants provides optics (glasses and contact lenses), corneal transplants and various refractive surgery techniques, including laser surgery to address myopia (near-sightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness) and the many disorders that interfere with vision. The practice is one of the few corneal transplant centers located in the United States.
